GPON OLT
Positioned at the network head end, optical line terminating equipment (OLT) is the key element within a GPON deployment managing the upstream and downstream bandwidth for voice, data and video communications from the long haul or metro network. DTC supplies a range of multi-vendor products for GPON and XGs-PON networks including Adtran, Calix, CXR, Dasan, Datacom, and Halny. Solutions range from 4 to 32 ports housed within a modular chassis system offering multiple / hybrid solutions for low and high density applications with up to 100GigE uplinks.
The Dasan OLT offers 8 & 16 modules with each port connected to 32/64/128 subscribers dependent on bandwidth needs. A port provides 2.5 GB download and 1.25 GB upload for GPON devices an d10GB bi-directional for XGs-PON devices.
