Patch leads, cables and accessories (fibre, copper, coax and RF)

We supply the full set of cables that go with your network kit. We can provide fibre patch leads in every common connector and grade, copper from Cat5e to Cat7, coax and power, and the RF jumpers and feeders that sit out at a cell site. Leads come pre-terminated and tested or made to your exact length, and rated for where they go – irrespective of whether it’s a clean rack or an outdoor/harsh environment.

We routinely, alongside hardware, provide panels, frames, pigtails, PDUs and rack accessories – so the cabling and the kit it connects arrive on one order rather than spread across multiple suppliers.

Fibre, copper, coax and power

Fibre in LC, SC, ST and MPO/MTP, single-mode and multimode; copper from Cat5e to Cat7; direct-attach and active optical cables; and coaxial and power cabling alongside it – we can supply it all.

  • Fibre – LC, SC, ST and MPO/MTP, single-mode and multimode (OM3/OM4)
  • Copper – Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7
  • Coax, power, DAC and AOC

Cabling for the cell site and the rack

We supply RF jumpers and feeder cable, grounding and weatherproofing, and outdoor- and industrial-rated cabling built to sit at a base station or tower rather than in a clean room.

  • RF jumpers and feeders – for runs between radio, antenna and ground
  • Grounding and weatherproofing – for unattended outdoor sites
  • Connectorised to spec – N-type, 7/16 DIN and 4.3-10 connectors, pre-terminated and tested

Hardware and cables on the same order

Leads made to the exact run and factory-terminated install faster and fail less than field-terminated ones, and ordering them with the hardware keeps a job off separate suppliers. Panels, frames, pigtails, PDUs and rack accessories come from the same place.

  • Cut to length, factory-terminated – no field termination, no coiled slack
  • Pre-terminated or bespoke – off the shelf or made to spec
  • One order – cabling and accessories alongside the hardware

Why DTC

Why source your cabling and peripherals from DTC?

One supplier for the kit and the cabling

Peripherals usually get bought from a separate supplier, away from the hardware they connect. We supply the cabling alongside the network kit, spares and engineering, so it all lands on one order with one point of contact.

A telecoms range, not just structured cabling

We cover the whole telecoms estate - fibre and copper for the rack, coax and power, and the RF jumpers, feeders and low-PIM assemblies that sit out at a cell site - because supplying telecoms networks is what we do.

Made to fit, tested, right first time

Leads cut to the exact run, factory-terminated and tested, in the connector, grade and polarity the link actually needs - so they install faster and fail less.

Held and dispatched to your schedule

We can hold your cabling and buffer stock and dispatch it to depots or engineers as a rollout or repair demands, so you keep less capital tied up without slowing the job. We're experts at logistics for multi-site programmes.

More on peripherals and patch leads

Peripherals, patch leads and accessories

The small parts still decide whether a job goes smoothly, and chasing them across separate suppliers slows everything down. DTC supplies the patch leads, cables, panels and accessories that go with your network kit, from the data centre to the cell site, specified for the link and supplied on the same order as the hardware.

What we supply

  • Fibre patch leads – LC, SC, ST and MPO/MTP, single-mode and multimode (OM3/OM4)
  • Copper patch leads – Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7
  • Direct-attach copper (DAC) and active optical cables (AOC)
  • Coaxial and power cabling
  • RF jumpers, feeder cable, grounding and weatherproofing for cell sites
  • Patch panels, frames, pigtails, jumpers, PDUs and rack accessories

The right lead for the link

A lot of avoidable faults start at the patch lead, so the type matters: the correct connector, fibre type and copper category for the link rather than whatever is to hand. For high-density and 40/100G breakout, MPO/MTP assemblies are supplied with the polarity and pinning specified so they work first time.

Cabling for cell sites and outdoor

Not all cabling lives in a clean rack. For base stations and towers we supply RF jumpers and feeder cable, grounding and weatherproofing, and outdoor- and industrial-rated cabling built for the environment it sits in, rather than data-centre patch leads pressed into a job they were not made for.

Pre-terminated and cut to length

Field termination is slow and variable, and over-long factory leads coil up in cabinets and trap heat. Leads made to the exact run, factory-terminated and tested, make installs faster, tidier and more reliable, with quick dispatch on stocked items.

One order, not five suppliers

Because the accessories come bundled with the hardware and engineering, the cabling and the kit it connects arrive together, one lead time, one delivery, one point of contact, instead of a job split across a wholesaler and a distributor.

Quality and standards

All cabling and accessories are supplied to the relevant industry quality and performance standards.
